What is Leak Detection?

Leak detection is a non-invasive technique used to identify plumbing leaks through specialised devices designed for this purpose.

Water leaks create acoustic vibrations that can be detected using a Digital Acoustic Device.

​

Tracer gas is introduced into the water or pool pipelines. If there is a burst or leak, this gas escapes from the piping and rises to the surface. Our highly sensitive detection equipment can then locate this gas, indicating where the leak is situated.

Another effective method for locating water leaks is thermal imaging. This technique helps identify both hot and cold water leaks without disrupting the existing water system.

Additionally, CCTV camera inspections enable technicians to examine and diagnose concealed pipe systems without the need to excavate or expose the lines.
