Pricing & Cost Guide

At Leakfind, we believe you should know what a leak detection or plumbing repair will cost before we arrive, not after. This guide sets out our 2026 rates for domestic and residential work: what each detection method is used for and what it typically costs, our call-out and hourly rates by area, after-hours rates, and how we quote industrial and large commercial properties.

All rates are call-out fee plus hourly rate. The call-out covers the first hour; work after that is billed per hour. Prices exclude VAT and apply to domestic and residential leak detection and plumbing repairs only.

What affects the cost

Every quote is built from the same rate card above, but a few factors change the final number: your area or zone (town, seaboard, deep south, remote, etc.), whether the job falls in normal hours or after hours and weekends, the type of work (leak detection and plumbing repair are billed at different hourly rates), and how long the job takes on site once the first hour is covered. Industrial and large commercial properties are priced differently, as explained below.

Industrial and large property quotes

This price list is for domestic and residential leak detection and plumbing repairs. For industrial and large property leak detections we first do a site visit, which is charged as a call-out only, to establish the amount of tracer gas and time we need to spend on site. After the site visit we provide the client with a formal quote. Any repair and remedial work is quoted separately.

Getting a transparent quote

For domestic and residential work, use the tables above to know what to expect before we arrive. For industrial and large properties, book a site-visit call-out and we will follow up with a formal quote once we have assessed the job, with any repairs quoted separately.
